How we engineer
Capabilities tell you what a firm sells. Standards tell you what it’s like to work with. Ours are published here and referenced in every proposal.
- Environments. Dev, test and production are separate — separate identities, separate data. Nothing reaches production without passing test, and no one develops in production.
- Identity and access. MFA and least privilege on every system we touch; our access is listed in the engagement doc and revoked at handover unless you keep us on.
- Code and configuration. Version-controlled, peer-reviewed, infrastructure as code. “It works on my machine” is not a deployment method.
- Testing. Acceptance criteria written with you before the build; UAT signed by the business, not by us. AI agents additionally pass a written evaluation harness.
- Documentation, always. Every delivery ships its runbook, admin guide and — for analytics — its data dictionary. The test: your next provider could pick it up.
- Security baseline. Encrypted in transit and at rest; backups with recovery actually tested, with recovery-point and recovery-time targets stated per system in writing.
- Reconciliation. Where money flows through a system we build, a reconciliation check is part of the build, not a post-incident improvisation.
- Warranty. A defined post-go-live window in every fixed-scope engagement, in writing: defects fixed at our cost, changes quoted honestly as changes.
These standards are why our proposals are longer than our competitors’. They’re also why our handovers are shorter. See our Terms on the homepage →
