If you can’t see it, you can’t steer it

In short: SHORIQ builds reconciliation-grade analytics on Qlik — layered data architecture, governed access, and dashboards where the number on screen matches the number finance signs. If your reports and your ledger disagree, this is the practice that fixes it.

We engineer analytics on Qlik — the associative engine behind some of the world’s most demanding BI estates: dashboards your managers actually open, pipelines that reconcile to the ledger, and answers at the speed of the question.

What we build

  • Qlik Sense and Qlik Cloud applications — built on the associative engine, so users explore by selection rather than waiting on a new report request; in-memory where speed matters, Direct Query where data must stay put
  • Layered data architecture — extract, transform and presentation QVD layers with incremental loads, so refreshes take minutes, lineage is traceable, and one source change doesn’t break forty charts
  • Row-level security with Section Access — managers see their region, finance sees it all, and the security model is documented, tested and auditable
  • Governed self-service — master items and a governed library so analysts build their own views without forking the truth; usage telemetry to retire what nobody opens
  • Reconciliation-grade reporting — every dashboard ships with a data dictionary and a reconciliation note: which system each number comes from, refreshed when, matching the ledger to the dirham or documenting exactly why not
  • Pipelines and delivery — source extraction from your ERP and accounting systems, scheduled reloads with alerting on failure and on anomaly, and scheduled report distribution where a pushed PDF genuinely serves better than a login

Positions we’ll defend

  • A dashboard nobody opens is a data quality problem wearing a UI; we instrument usage and say so.
  • Self-service without governance is how a company ends up with four versions of revenue.
  • We work the Microsoft stack daily and will recommend Power BI when it’s the better fit — in writing, with reasons. Our practice is engineered on Qlik for the associative model and governed scale.

The SHORIQ angle

Analytics is an engineering discipline here, not chart decoration: every dashboard ships with a data dictionary and a reconciliation note saying where each number comes from. When a number is questioned in a meeting — and it will be — the answer is in writing.

Where to start

The One-Dashboard Sprint: your most argued-about number, made trustworthy in two weeks — sources mapped, model built, dashboard live, dictionary included. Fixed fee, in writing.

FAQ

Why Qlik and not Power BI?

We work in the Microsoft stack daily and will say so when Power BI is the better fit — some estates are better served by it, and our Terms oblige us to tell you. Our analytics practice is engineered on Qlik for its associative model and governed self-service at scale; the recommendation comes with reasons, in writing, either way.

Can you fix our existing Qlik estate?

Yes — audit first, fixed fee: what’s built, what’s broken, what to keep. Then you decide, with the report in hand, whether we’re the ones to fix it.

What data access do you need?

Least privilege, defined in writing: read access to the sources in scope, nothing else, revoked at handover unless you keep us on.
